Pendants
SIMPLE BEZEL DESIGNS
This design consists of a silver backing, a strip of
silver bezel that holds the stone, and a loop at the
top called a “bail”. Several types of bails are
available and are shown below. A larger bail will
make a pendant a “slide”, which can fit on most
neck rings or omegas. A 16 or 18 inch chain is
included with each pendant.
This is an easy style to create, so I am able to
take orders easily with a wide variety of stones.

and an accent stone above a curved hollow
tube. The chain slides through the tubing. An
18 inch chain is included with each pendant.
Because of the curve of the tube, a neck ring
or omega will not fit through this style of
pendant. Stones that look great in this
design include Chinese writing stone,
Dalmatian jasper, and petrified palm wood.

OXIDIZED DESIGNS

oxidized. I use a technique to create an unusual, colorful
patina after the piece has been fabricated, and colors
vary with each oxidation process. Clear acrylic sealer is
then applied to preserve the shading and color. Stones
for this design are usually smaller colored stones such as
amethyst, garnet, onyx, lapis, or blue topaz. Lighter
colors provide a contrast with the darker finish of the
metal. A 16 or 18 inch chain is included with each
pendant.

backgrounds with 14K gold accents, multiple stones with
textured and curved wire, or figures shaped like women
with carved antler faces. Custom orders are possible,
depending on my schedule and time.

chain. These are good quality solid sterling silver chains
with secure “lobster claw” style clasps. Lighter weight
chains are included for smaller pendants and heavier
weight for larger pieces.
Chains may be exchanged, but 20 or 24 inch chains cost
a few dollars more (figure about one dollar per inch
extra). I can order a 30 inch chain for you if you like.
